Avoid Being Hounded - Start Your Own Watersports Group!

Any organize dog club, kennel club, sports club, canine training organization or facility interested in promoting water safety, teamwork and water work for all kinds of dogs may apply for membership to Canine Water Sports. Only CWS group members are eligible to host a CWS water testing event.
Any group, club, organization or facility interested in becoming a group member of Canine Water Sports for the purpose of promoting watersports and hosting water testing events shall complete a membership application, agree to uphold and abide by Canine Water Sports rules and regulations and pay a one time filing fee. Once approved by Canine Water Sports the group member shall be assigned a membership number and shall be eligible to apply to host CWS testing events.
Group members shall update their membership information yearly. Group members are subject to suspension or termination of membership for violations of the sports' rules and regulations or misconduct prejudicial to the interests of Canine Water Sports or dog sports in general.






My Dog’s Place, a dog training facility in Mystic, CT. was the first Group Member of Canine Water Sports. Today, Marjorie Lineweber, certified APDT trainer, water judge and owner of My Dog’s Place, conducts watersports classes and hosts CWS tests in Ledyard, CT. Visit My Dog’s Place.
