Prerequisite: Dogs must be willing and able to swim attentively with their handler.

Student level: Designed for the team in training to pass the CWS Team Swim or the PWDCA Team Swim Task. Swimming for Duration, Distance, Distractions and Directional Control.

Course Description: Skills being introduced in this leash free course include; continuing to build shore proximity confidence; rehearsing duration and distraction tolerance in the starter box, increasing distance and speed for recalls into the water; an automatic shark circles around swimmers;  rehearsing course directions through the water markers, building swim endurance and confidence through duration and intensity demands.  Introduction to behaviors in the Advanced Team Swim Test; Go to shore for a 10 second stay, figure 8 swim around swimmers, circling a boat, weaving water markers.
