ADVANCED TEAM SWIM TEST PREP

limited to four teams

Student Level:   For teams who are prepared for or have passed the Novice Team Swim Task and are preparing to take the  Advanced Team Swim test.

Course Description:  this workshop includes rehearsals and individual coaching for teams ready to take their Advanced Team Swim test. Rehearsals will include duration and distraction tolerance in the starter box, fast 100 ft recalls to the swimmer; rehearsing & changing proximity from the boater; strategies  for weaving the slalom markers, the Yo-Yo to and from shore and the figure 8 around swimmers.  Discussions will include: Rules and Regulations and test preparation.

NOVICE TEAM SWIM TEST PREP

limited to 6 teams

Student Level:  For teams who have completed training in the Novice Team Swim behaviors are are preparing to take the Novice Team Swim test.

Course Description:  this workshop includes rehearsals and individual strategies for teams ready to take their Novice Team Swim;  stays in starter box, recalls to swimmer, the 30 sec. holding pattern, speed & directional control over the swim course and a graceful return to the starter box.  Review of the rules and regulations and suggestions for a calm test day will also be discussed.
